Happy Thursday! I’ve recently been taking control of my nutrition. With the help of a nutrition coach, I’ve been able to access thousands of recipes that help keep me full and satisfied. One of the best options I’ve found are having nutritious smoothies in the mornings that contain Protein powder.
You may ask, well, why protein powder? Isn’t that going to make you bulk up?
Oh contraire mon frere! It’s just used as a meal replacement to keep me full 🙂 Not to mention, it tastes delicious mixed up with my smoothie of the day.
This particular smoothie is not only nutritions and delicious, but my kids absolutely love it! Ian (11) and Anastasia (9) beg me every morning to have this exact smoothie. The mixed berry blend and addition of kale and flax seeds boost immunity and taste scrumptious.
Berry Banana Smoothie
- 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 1 cup Frozen Berries
- 1 cup Kale Leaves
- 1/2 Banana
- 1/4 cup Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 tbsp Flax Seeds
Blend all ingredients together
